Beyond the Blog: Crafting Novels, Crafting Dreams

Hello Lovelies! As we step into the promising expanse of 2024, this year marks a pivotal moment in our creative journey—it’s the year we delve into the realm of self-publishing. Today, I’m excited to share with you my plans for the year, which will include in-depth discussions on various aspects of self-publishing as I chart my course toward independently publishing my novels in 2025.

Why 2024 is the Year of Self-Publishing: This year, I’m shining a spotlight on self-publishing, a transformative avenue that empowers authors to take control of their literary destiny. We’ll explore the intricacies of the self-publishing landscape, covering topics such as formatting, cover design trends, marketing strategies, and the overall process of bringing a book from manuscript to publication.

Changes in Blog Posting Schedule and Expanded Reach: In the spirit of adaptation and growth, I’ve decided to adjust my blog posting schedule for the year. While I’ve enjoyed the rhythm of weekly blog posts for many years, I’m slowing down the pace to a bi-weekly schedule. This intentional shift allows me the time and space needed to revisit and update some of the older gems on the blog.

Additionally, I’m excited to expand my reach onto other platforms such as Minds and Medium, broadening my horizons and connecting with readers on diverse platforms. While the blog posts will slow down this year, the podcast will continue to post once a week, catching up some of the older posts as they are updated.

Focusing on Quality: The decision to slow down the blog posts is fueled by a commitment to quality content. This year is about refining and enhancing the existing blog posts, ensuring that they remain valuable resources for writers and readers alike. It’s an opportunity to delve deeper into topics, provide updated information, and offer a more immersive experience for our community.

Preparing for 2025: As I embark on the self-publishing journey, there’s an enormous amount of writing and editing work ahead. The extra time afforded by the adjusted posting schedule will be dedicated to honing my craft, refining manuscripts, and ensuring that the novels slated for publication in 2025 are polished gems that readers will treasure.

In Conclusion: 2024 is a year of transformation and focus, a year where we navigate the self-publishing odyssey together. As we embrace change, update our blog content, and venture into new platforms, the core of our journey remains the same—the love for storytelling and the shared passion for the written word. Thank you for being part of this adventure, and here’s to a year of growth, learning, and literary discoveries!
